Paintings and Writing

Paintings

  1. An abstract poured painting. Swirls of turquoise, teal and white run diagonally across the canvas. Streaks of rust, gold or black cross the center, leaving white space at the corners.
  2. Two abstract paintings hung side by side on a cream wall. The taller canvas on the left layers navy, red and black strokes over a pale ground with flecks of yellow. The wider canvas on the right sets a dark navy mass with red patches against pale gray, crossed by thin diagonal lines.
  3. An abstract poured painting of teal, black and silver cells threaded with bright red veins that gather toward the upper right.
  4. A mixed-media abstract painting of black or white blocks, a large red circle, a gold triangle, all overlaid with looping gold and copper drips. Torn strips of paper printed with Persian script and English text are scattered across the surface.
  5. An abstract painting of pooled blue, yellow, red and green blots spreading outward from a dark center across a white ground.
  6. An abstract painting covered in overlapping blots of deep blue, magenta, copper and pale teal, speckled with metallic flecks on white.
  7. An abstract poured painting in which streams of coral, orange, pink, teal and cream fan upward from a dark center like petals.
  8. An abstract poured painting with a dark column of black with plum rising through the center, edged with cells of teal, magenta and white.
  9. An abstract poured painting with a diagonal band of royal blue, purple, green and rust feathering out across a white canvas.
  10. An abstract poured painting of bright red waves crossing a field of gray-white cells, with streaks of black, tan and copper.
  11. A round abstract poured painting of blue, black and white swirls with cream cells, photographed on a red cloth.
